Spotted Peccary Music to host the group — Jerry Marotta, Rupert Greenall, David Helping and Eric “the” Taylor — and fans for a complete listen of their highly-anticipated album INTERDWELL. The album is slated for release on May 17, 2024.
Tonight, Dark Sky Alliance will gather to reveal their forthcoming album in its entirety on a Bandcamp Listening Party while live chatting with fans and media. The group signed to independent record label Spotted Peccary Music earlier this spring, and to date have introduced the singles “The Desert Mind” and “Warm Inlet.”
Dark Sky Alliance is comprised of four highly-esteemed artists –percussionist Jerry Marotta (Peter Gabriel, Indigo Girls), keyboardist Rupert Greenall (The Fixx), synthesist Eric “the” Taylor, and guitarist David Helpling. Robert Rich, Tony Levin, Jamie West-Oram (The Fixx) Joe Locke, and the late Sonam Tangee also contributed to the genre-bending album.
It all begins begin at 8pm EDT / 5pm PDT, and the chat will open 15 minutes early for a casual pre-chat!
Echoes Radio referred to them as “a supergroup of sorts” while music writer Robin James described “The Desert Mind” as “A mellow almost jazzy polyrhythmic groove in a mysterious ambient framework.”
Their upcoming debut album, Interdwell, is an inspiring odyssey that carries the listener from a sun-dappled lake to the furthest reaches of space and back again. Ambient lovers can pre-order Interdwell on any platform of their choosing, listed here: https://orcd.co/interdwell.
