India’s most affordable franchisee chain announces 635th store

Five Star, Charoen Pokphand foods PCL brand, established in 1985 in Thailand is on a major expansion drive in India. The quick-service restaurant (QSR) is launching its 10th in North India marking the total number at 635th pan India.

Five Star aims to build up a vast chain of neighbourhood store serving best quality fried chicken via Franchisee Owned Franchisee Operated (FOFO) model. This is a reflection of the brand’s promise to be the go-to restaurant for the Indian customer at an affordable price point. The new store has opened at Sector 16B Greater Noida.

The team at Five Star is making constant efforts at understanding the demographics, taste palates and people’s choices across various regions of the country. With this, the brand has made additions to the menu of the stores in North India.

On the launch Mr. Kasinn Khaowprasert, Director, CP Avant, said, “After testing waters in South India and successfully establishing a chain of 625 stores, Five Star is ready to take over the Northern belt. The launch of the 10th store in Greater Noida, NCR is a part of our vision of reaching a mark of 500 stores till the year 2025 in Northern Regions of India.”

Following the launch in Greater Noida, Five Star will be opening additional restaurants in Punjab, J&K, Rajasthan, etc including NCR regions.
