In the current pandemic scenario where the country & its Healthcare System is overwhelmed, Virohan, leading healthcare edtech Startup is aiming to build on the skilled healthcare workforce in India. Virohan is scaling up to 160 centres across 35+ cities PAN India in 2021.
The company is looking to tie up with Colleges and Training Institutes in order to expand its reach & would also be focusing on building Hindi speaking belts to provide a vernacular option for aspiring paramedics. Currently having centres across Delhi NCR, UP, Maharashtra and Chattisgarh, the focus is expanding across other states & cities. Virohan’s aim with this expansion is to provide quality medical & healthcare training to students at large which will strengthen India’s healthcare workforce preparing it to be ready for any severe crisis like COVID-19.
Virohan offers NSDC certified Diploma courses for students to become Medical Lab Technicians and OT Technicians. Training is provided through videos, gamification and real time tests, leading to increased student engagement & retention. Virohan also focuses on supporting other education businesses with offline campuses becoming tech enabled through their myClassroom Kit which is a proprietary, end-to-end Hybrid Training solution.
