68th Naya Delhi Sarbojanin Durga Puja Samiti Pandara Road- A Grand celebration of Tradition and Unity

The Naya Delhi Sarbojanin Durga Puja Samiti Pandara Road, managed by the Govt servants, professionals from the fields of law, media and local residents, is gearing up for its 68th year of grand Durga Puja from 20th-24th October at Shahjahan Road Park, New Delhi.

This significant event, steeped in tradition and culture, continues to bring joy and unity to the community. Last year the pandal was graced with the presence of Mr. Jagdeep Dhankhar, Vice President of India, many of the Union Ministers, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi and other dignitaries. And this year also it is set to be attended by esteemed VVIPs and promises to be a magnificent spectacle of culture, spirituality and community harmony.

As one of the oldest pandals of New Delhi, the Naya Delhi Sarbojanin Durga Puja Samiti holds a unique and cherished place in the hearts of Delhi residents. Dr. Gautam Bose, President of the committee expressed his excitement by saying,” It is indeed a privilege and an honor to celebrate the 68th year of our beloved Puja. As we set out to commemorate this significant milestone, we are reminded of the unwavering commitment and enthusiasm of the people of Delhi and the members over the years. This year, like previous years, we are honored to host distinguished VVIPs, adding significance to our event.We take pride in continuing the tradition, fostering a sense of community and spirituality amongst the residents of Delhi”.

‘This is truly an embodiment of the Bengali ‘ Barowari’ Puja as members across professions and positions come together to celebrate these few days and Kali Puja, which falls on 12th Nov this year, in a spirit of bonhomie and togetherness. It is truly an example of all being equal in front of Mother Goddess’ said Dr. Atasi Choudhury, General Secretary of the Puja Samity.

The Naya Delhi Sarbojanin Durga Puja Samiti Pandara Road is known for its beautiful and artistic Maa Durga idol, mesmerizing decorations, cultural programs, and sumptuous traditional cuisine. It has consistently served as a symbol of unity and tradition for the community, and this year’s celebration promises to be no different.
