JSW Paints, India’s leading environment-friendly paints company and part of US$ 22 billion JSW Group, transformed the Kali-Bari temple in Paschim Vihar, New Delhi. This temple is managed by the Paschim Vihar Bengali Association (PVBA) and attracts more than 400 devotees every day. Over the past few years, the temple walls had developed cracks and the paint on these walls had worn off due to moisture.
The JSW Paints team undertook with its Star contractor partners, extensive repainting of the temple internally and externally with the Aurus Regal range of wall finishes from JSW Paints product portfolio. The Aurus Regal range is thoughtfully designed to provide rich and durable finish for interior & exterior walls. The temple has multiple rooms across two floors for conducting daily aartis and other social activities. It had yellow walls with red highlights which were replicated while repainting by the JSW Paints team. The temple includes a library cum reading room, a physiotherapy center and an auditorium for live performances and social activities on various occasions. It has been reopened for the public.
According to Mrs Anuradha Bose, Chief Marketing Officer of JSW Paints, “The Kali-Bari temple has been a prominent place of worship for devotees and provides a significant support system for the communities in the nearby areas. The restoration and repainting plan was intended to conserve the culture and haven of the local residents of Paschim Vihar. Our Aurus Regal range of interior and exterior wall finishes was well suited for delivering a long-lasting finish to this beautiful temple.”
