JITO Incubation and Innovation Foundation (JIIF) and JITO Youth wing (JYW) in association with Mumbai Zone recently hosted the grand JIIF Shark Angels. Out of the 7 startups that pitched, 4 received cumulative commitments of 9 Crores. As per the breakup, 3.5 crores were secured by the farm to fork organic brand – 1 Organic, the lifestyle company EUME assured 2.5 crores support, Omotec which is a dynamic Innovation and Research Lab that brings STEAM learning to students of all age groups settled in 2 crores, and one stop platform for electric two wheelers Tride Mobility managed to locked 1 crore. With the 400+ live participants and 2400+ virtual audience for over 3.5 hours massively successful event saw the support from the highest level of dignitaries such as Shri. Pradeepji Rathod – Cello Group, Shri. Prithviraj ji Kothari – RSBL Group, Shri. Motilalji Oswal – Motilal Oswal Group, Shri. Jayanthji Jain – GM Modular, and Shri. Vinodji Dugar – RDB Group. Without these dignitaries this stature of event could not have been achieved. This is the first in the series of this event that is planned to be organised in multiple cities. The next event will be in Pune on 7th May as a part of JITO Connect.
Jayanti Mehta, JIIF mumbai zone convenor, and the co-convenor Haresh Parekh had organised the 1st Shark Angels setting a road map to organise across India.
