Smiley Children Society Expands Its Educational Impact with School Enrollment, Free Tuition, and Child Development Initiatives

Mandapeta, Andhra Pradesh: Education remains one of the strongest foundations for building an empowered society, and Smiley Children Society continues to strengthen that foundation through a range of initiatives designed to support children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Since its establishment on January 19, 2019, the organization has been committed to making education accessible, inclusive, and engaging for children across Andhra Pradesh.

Founded by Prudhvi Moses, Smiley Children Society operates from its headquarters in Mandapeta, along with branch offices in Angara (East Godavari District) and Pothavaram (West Godavari District). Through its dedicated network of volunteers, the organization has positively impacted numerous families by addressing educational challenges at the grassroots level.

A major focus of the society’s work is helping children who are not attending school gain admission to nearby government institutions. Volunteers identify eligible children, counsel parents on the importance of education, assist with admission formalities, and coordinate with school authorities to ensure a seamless enrollment process. These efforts have made it easier for families from financially weaker sections to access government education.

The initiative has been appreciated by Headmaster Swamy Narayan, who recognized the commitment of Smiley Children Society’s volunteers and commended Founder Prudhvi Moses for his consistent efforts in promoting education among underprivileged children.

Beyond admissions, the organization runs free evening tuition classes in Angara to help students strengthen their academic performance. The classes provide personalized guidance, homework support, and examination preparation, enabling children to build confidence and improve learning outcomes. To further support their well-being, the society also serves free dinner to students attending the tuition sessions, helping address nutritional needs while easing financial pressure on families.

In addition to academic support, Smiley Children Society actively advocates for innovation in early childhood education. Speaking at educational programs, Prudhvi Moses has encouraged Anganwadi centres and primary schools to adopt creative, activity-based teaching methods that inspire curiosity and make learning enjoyable for young children.

“Education should inspire children to think, explore, and grow with confidence. Along with academic knowledge, schools should create environments where creativity, health, and happiness become an integral part of learning. Smiley Children Society will continue supporting institutions that embrace this vision by providing educational equipment and learning resources whenever possible,” said Moses.

With a strong emphasis on community participation, volunteer engagement, and educational inclusion, Smiley Children Society continues to expand its outreach and strengthen its mission of ensuring that every child—regardless of economic background—has the opportunity to learn, thrive, and build a better future.
